When God calls our children to dwell with him above
We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of his love
For no heartache compares with the death of one child
Who does so much to make our world seem so wonderful& mild
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold
So he picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them and so He takes but few.
To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try
The saddest word mankind knows will always be GOOD-BYE
So when a child departs we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children.

Thanks so much for writing such a beautiful tribute on Aaron's page. It's a small world isn't it?  We've lived in Springfield since I was expecting Aaron... He loved it here.  Everywhere I go every street corner - reminds me of him & places we went together or he worked etc.  I cannot imagine the awful pain of what you went through losing Brittany in such an awful way.  Losing Aaron was cruel enough the way he was hit by an SUV a pick up & a car! But to know that someone else purposely took such a beautiful life is beyond under-standing. Brittany was a beautiful girl & she has & IS a beautiful soul. I pray that God will comfort you & your family! I've learned that no matter how much time goes by the pain doesn't end - we just learn how to survive.  And knowing that they are in a beautiful place now with no pain ugliness or turmoil - is some comfort too. We will see them again! And God who holds all power will avenge his precious ones.  That is my belief. Thank you so much for your thoughts & prayers & for just 'being there' to share our grief.
